Booking a villa in Ibiza is a big investment, so it’s completely understandable that you will want to make sure everything is just right before going ahead with your reservation. We are happy to provide as much information as you need, to assure you that our service is of the highest quality, leaving you to look forward to your upcoming stay with us.

Normal check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am unless otherwise arranged with our Operations Team. Our team will contact you at least 2 weeks before arrival to inform you of your check-in procedure at the villa and location of the keys.

The lead client will be required to complete a simple registration form to validate the Villa insurance. We will need to collect the locally charged ECO tax of €2.20 per person per night and will also need to collect everybody’s names and Passport numbers if they have not been entered onto your booking details prior to arrival. This is a legal requirement, the same as when you check into a hotel, so please ensure you have your Passports ready at check-in.  We can arrange a transfer to your villa if required and If you are arriving late at night, please make sure you let us know in advance so we can make arrangements for the secure handover of your keys.

It is your responsibility to remove daily rubbish from the premises. In Spain, all rubbish is taken to centralized bins which your villa rep will point out to you at check-in.  Many clients do not have a car, therefore, we can offer a Rubbish Collection service for just 75 euros for stays of 1 week or less which your villa rep will collect on arrival at the villa.  If you do not wish to use this service, you will be responsible for removing all rubbish and we will require a credit card at check in to pre-authorize 100 euros in the event of any rubbish being left at the premises. This amount will only be taken if any rubbish is left at the villa.

Ibiza is generally a really safe and friendly place to enjoy your holiday and has a lower crime rate than many other parts of Spain. Staying safe in Ibiza is really only a matter of common sense; not bringing vast amounts of cash or valuables, using the safety deposit boxes provided for smaller items, passports, etc, and securing your villa properly.

In recent months there has been a great deal of coverage in the UK media about villa rental scams, where people have unwittingly handed over large amounts of money to secure a villa that either does not exist or is not for rent by the person the money has been paid to. This doesn’t only happen in Ibiza of course, but in all lucrative villa rental markets across Europe. Villa rental scams are on the rise.

How to check if an Ibiza villa rental company is safe and legal is becoming increasingly important.

Like any popular tourist hotspot, Ibiza attracts all kinds of folk. Mainly, our beautiful island attracts good, honest people, coming over to the island for their precious holiday having grafted and saved to make it happen.

The flip-side of that are the small, but rotten apples that without prior warning, can spoil the whole cart. Scurrilous characters that seek to cash-in on the huge popularity of destinations such as Ibiza, by setting up scam websites, claiming to offer Ibiza villas for rent which in reality, the scammer has no access to. Every year, people are scammed out of their hard-earned savings. Paying deposits for their dream villa rental, only to arrive at their holiday destination and find that in fact, the villa was never booked, their deposit has vanished and they are completely stranded with nowhere to stay. Heartbreaking.

If the villa rental company is legal and registered with the Ibiza Villa Association (AVAT – Asociación de Viviendas Turísticas Vacacionales) then the website will display the AVAT logo on their website, just like you can see on the footer of every page on our website.

The Accident Damage Waiver

The Accident Damage Waiver (ADW) is a unique product which replaces our security deposit. We’ve been operating the security deposit for the last 17 years and have found that it causes more harm than good. Click learn more to see a few of the reasons why:

• Group leaders spend too much time collecting payments from their group towards the security deposit.
• Large deposits are often an unwelcome, hefty, extra expense for guests who would rather have the cash to spend on holiday.
• When there is a problem and we have to deduct money, this can cause disagreements and bad feelings.
• We want everyone to return home happy, sometimes a deduction from the security deposit can spoil your holiday. This is the last thing we want.
• Management of the security deposit is huge. Collection, administration and refunding the deposit takes a long time.
