The Ibiza Villa 2000 team have been known to shimmy across the throbbing dancefloor of an Ibiza club once or twice in their time. Obviously not when we were supposed to be working the next day. Ahem. Space Ibiza, the daddy of them all, was one Ibiza club we were particularly fond of too, *sniff.*
But hey, times change. And who are we to interfere with those fickle whims of the mysterious Ibiza club gurus, the big wheels turning beneath the surface changes that us mere mortals must bear. It is simply ours to take the changing times in our stride and let fellow mortals know about them as soon as we do.
Brand new Ibiza club
So we were pretty excited to hear that Space Ibiza is set continue to exist as a superclub under the expert eye of the Ushuaïa team. Its new name is Hï. Check out their groovy new promo vid and the quote from their marketing team below:
“Hi” is a small word that can be the beginning of a meaningful conversation either the start of a beautiful friendship that can lead to a bigger world of discovery. “Hi” is a welcome to a new era in Ibiza.”
Cool concept. If the lavish stages, lighting and epic line-ups at Ushuaïa are anything to go by, this could be large, ladies and gents! We’re expecting state-of-the-art. The very latest in visuals and sound. The most alluring of dancers. The most thunderous of sound-systems. We’re expecting the Ferrari of clubbing, dammit.
Let’s all bite our nails together and let our imaginations run rampant as to what this swanky new Ibiza club will bring us! And fear not.
