    Tucked away behind Santa Eulalia in the countryside is this traditional Spanish finca for sale, built by the hand of the current Ibicenco owner some 30 years ago and maintained with love and care ever since.

    The family style house has a full tourist licence and a good steady track record for rentals due to its close proximity to both Santa Eulalia and the more chilled north areas of the island, as well as 5 being minutes drive only to beaches running down the east coast from Cala Nova, down to Santa Eulalia.     This well built house has only one neighbour but a lot of privacy. On the ground floor is an enormous kitchen which opens onto the garden and pool area, a huge dining and living room area, with a rather grandiose curling marble staircase taking centre stage. There is also a large room adjacent to the kitchen which can be used either as a bedroom, or as a separate dining room. There is a bathroom on the ground floor as well, together with a large storage and utilities room.

    Up on the first floor are 3 very good sized bedrooms, all with sea and countryside views and access to the large expansive terrace. There are 2 bathrooms, one at each end of the hallway, and a further room which is currently used as a study, but could also easily be converted into a 4th or 5th bedroom.

    The style is Spanish traditional with dark woods throughout, and could lend itself to some very simple modernisation, to create a superb house here, in a pretty special location.


    The house boasts good sized land and a very large pool with a great outdoor area and pool house. Coming through the gates is a nice driveway, and outdoor BBQ area to the one side, with the main entrance to the house on the other, plus an entrance directly into the kitchen around the rear.

    Running across the front of the house is a large dining area that can be opened fully for the Summer, or closed for those rare chillier days in the Winter, and it looks over the pool area and pool house, where a new outdoor kitchen and BBQ would work wonders. Behind the pool house is a further large field which could be used for homegrown food, or just as easily landscaped into a large garden area, or kid´s football pitch. The options here are very exciting.

    The whole plot is fenced, the house has it´s own well, and the water filtration system provides for perfect drinkable water.

    Its location is nicely situated to take advantage of both the privacy and tranquility of the countryside in the North and the hustle and bustle of Santa Eulalia all year round.

    NEIGHBOURHOOD – Casa Sagramassa

    The North East is possibly the most family friendly region of the island. Santa Eulalia, the third largest town in Ibiza, remains the same safe family haven all year round, with a complete ban on nightclubs and late night hostelries, a superb theatre, amazing sports facilities, cinema, a blue-flag beach, and endless shops, restaurants and gyms. Very popular with British, Dutch and Germans, it’s main square contains pretty fountains running down from the Town Hall all the way down the sea front.

    Moving out of town and North towards the picturesque little village San Carlos, one will find the famous Las Dalias Hippy Market with hundreds of stalls to wander around, and along the coastline untold beaches perfectly suited for families, such as Cala Martina, Cala Nova, and Cala Llenya (which also hosts the weekly Sunday morning flea market nearby), to name just a few.

    From San Carlos take the back winding mountain road North towards Cala San Vicente to catch the breath-taking scenery to your right as the sun rises above the pristine clear waters, and even feel free to shed your inhibitions on the nudist beaches along the way, such as Aguas Blancas. Then it is another quick hop up to the Northern most town in Ibiza, Portinatx, and trying to choose from yet more tiny little coves to chill out on, before winding down again to the quaint little village of San Juan, where the the demand for increasingly exclusive high end properties in the surrounding areas continues apace.
